Bailey was also installed as a director to the organization’s Board of Directors. She joins DSRE Managing Broker Jim Goldsmith who is beginning his second year on the Board. Each will serve on the Board for a term of two years.

According to the RAIRC, The REALTORS® Association of Indian River County Rookie of the Year award was established in 1991 to give recognition to the achievements of an outstanding new REALTOR®. Nominees are required to be REALTORS® members in good standing for at least one year but not more than three, to have made contributions to the local, state and national Associations, and to have shown REALTORS® spirit in their efforts. The nominees are selected by a nominating committee and then voted on by their peers.

Elizabeth “Liz” Train has the perfect recipe for success as a real estate sales agent. Her former career in direct sales for 20+ years, combined with being a former business owner and writer, give Liz the negotiation, sales and marketing skills required to be successful in the real estate arena.
“I know how to close the deal, the most important part of selling anything, including real estate,” Liz says. “I’m very excited about a career in real estate.” Her writing skills will also help when it comes to advertising and marketing her clients’ homes.
Liz grew up in New York where her mother was an antique dealer. Learning decorating and interior design from her mother, she also had an affinity for looking at homes and envisioning how they’d look with different furniture and accessories. However, she took a different path when she attended NYU and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food & Nutrition. She went on to write recipes for various food companies and publications throughout the country.
Her father lived on South Hutchinson Island in Stuart for many years. Her first experience with Vero Beach was when her father introduced her to the Ocean Grill. Liz was living in Palm City in Martin County when she met her husband who owned a condo in Vero Beach. They began living 6 months in Maine and 6 months in Vero Beach. Although her husband, a captain on a fishing vessel, still spends significant time in Maine, Liz, who loves baking, gardening, yoga and walking the beaches, enjoys being a fulltime resident of Vero. “I love the parks and beaches here, and spend as much time as possible outside. The restaurants and shops are wonderful and the residents are friendly and welcoming. It’s also a very peaceful and tranquil place to live. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.”

The duo is also affiliated with the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

Wnuk grew up in Pennsylvania but was a frequent visitor to Florida. He finally moved to the Sunshine State just in time to experience Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne. But that didn’t deter him at all. In fact, he immediately became entrenched in the community and the Florida lifestyle.
“I originally moved to Port St. Lucie and then in 2013, moved to Vero Beach, but I call the Treasure Coast home,” Wnuk says. “Living on the Treasure Coast has been a great experience, in part, because I love the ocean. But there are also many local spots in town that my fiancé and I enjoy like the Driftwood and Walking Tree Brewery. VERO BEACH FL/ SEPTEMBER 2018 – Sales agents and staff at the Dale Sorensen Real Estate (DSRE) downtown Vero Beach office recently hosted a lunch for the employees of Golf Carts of Vero Beach following a devastating fire at the golf cart business. The fire happened in early September and destroyed nearly 100 golf carts in the building. Fourteen employees were left without a paycheck due to the event. The employees were invited to lunch, which was provided by Nino’s Pizza.
“We just wanted to reach out a helping hand to a community partner,” said Jim Goldsmith, Managing Broker of DSRE’s downtown office. “We wanted to let them know we support them and that if there’s anything we, a local business can do, we’re here for them. Dale Sorensen Real Estate is community minded, we honestly live that philosophy.”
“This is just another example of how caring and charitable the staff and employees of DSRE are,’ said Dale Sorensen, Jr., DSRE Managing Partner. “Both Golf Carts of Vero Beach and Nino’s are great community businesses and partners. They both support the Vero Beach Easter Parade that DSRE hosts. We realize they’re here when we need them, so we want them to know we’re here for them too.”
