Wnuk grew up in Pennsylvania but was a frequent visitor to Florida. He finally moved to the Sunshine State just in time to experience Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne. But that didn’t deter him at all. In fact, he immediately became entrenched in the community and the Florida lifestyle.

“I originally moved to Port St. Lucie and then in 2013, moved to Vero Beach, but I call the Treasure Coast home,” Wnuk says. “Living on the Treasure Coast has been a great experience, in part, because I love the ocean. But there are also many local spots in town that my fiancé and I enjoy like the Driftwood and Walking Tree Brewery. Ralph WnukPlus, we attend numerous events such as the Vero Beach Air Show, Stuart Air Show, Pirate Festival, Taste of St Lucie, Sunrise Theatre and Riverside Theatre shows, May Pops and the multiple county fairs with outdoor concerts. The Treasure Coast has it all, great weather, beautiful beaches, wonderful culture and things to experience, fantastic restaurants and friendly people.”

Wnuk was a Realtor® in Pennsylvania and earned his Florida Real Estate License in mid-2018. He immediately joined Dale Sorensen Real Estate. “After speaking to Jim Goldsmith (Managing broker for DSRE’s downtown office) and getting a full understanding of how not only joining the top real estate company is important but being trained by that same company is just as critical, I realized this was an incredible opportunity.”

Because of Wnuk’s knowledge of the entire Treasure Coast, he is comfortable showing and listing residential properties in Vero Beach, Ft. Pierce and Port St. Lucie.

He is an active member in the Treasure Coast Jeep Club, which helps him to be involved in his community even further. Now he wants to help others enjoy the same kind of lifestyle. “I now wish to help others find their own piece of this paradise which they too can call home.”

You can reach Wnuk on his cell phone at 772.408.7133, at 772.492.5300 ext. 1868, by email at or at the company’s office located at 1961 14th Avenue in historic downtown Vero Beach.

Joe and Susan Crowley know a little something about giving back and putting out fires, literally.  As a former firefighter and a paramedic, Joe and Susan (respectively) have spent years running into burning buildings and saving lives.  Now, they spend their days helping families find a little slice of paradise they themselves found in Vero Beach.

Joe and Susan Crowley first started vacationing in Vero Beach nine years ago.  They immediately fell in love with the area and bought a home shortly after their very first trip here, traveling back and forth for a while.  They eventually moved from Ludlow, Massachusetts permanently to Vero Beach, bringing with them a unique set of skills and strengths that make them a dynamic team in the local real estate arena.

Joe has a very deliberate and calming personality.  As a retired fire fighter, Joe is able to handle things logically, calmly and efficiently, even when everyone else thinks the sky is falling.  “Because of my career as a first responder, I tend to view an issue, solve the problem quickly but calmly, and move on to the next issue.  There’s nothing that really makes me nervous.”  Joe spent 26 years as a firefighter, retiring as Deputy Chief.

Susan, an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, spent 33 years as a paramedic, the last 15 years with the fire department.  Susan is that grounded, everyday person that works really hard, knows how to solve problems and truly cares.  She has an inner strength and perseverance about her, a result of dealing with crises on a daily basis.  “Because of our background, we are able to handle all situations, and let our clients know that everything’s going to be okay.  Our customers know we care about them, it’s not just business, we sincerely want what’s best for them, and we care about the end result for our clients. Joe and I do everything together.  We’re easy going.  We each have our strengths and take on tasks that can match our strengths.”

Both Joe and Susan have been licensed Realtors® for more than 8 years.  “We took our real estate class together and have been joined at the hip ever since,” says Susan.  “When we retired we wanted to do something that we could do together, and where we can help people, so real estate was a good fit for us.  We’ve made a lot of new friends in this business.”

The duo recently joined Dale Sorensen Real Estate explaining they had their first experience with the company when they bought their home in Vero Beach.  “DSRE agent Bill Baysura handled our real estate transaction and we could tell by the level of his professionalism that DSRE must be a great company,” Joe says.  “Since joining the company we’ve learned that the training far DSRE exceeds our expectations.  The weekly company sales meeting gives us valuable information and the marketing department is behind you with every listing.  This really is not offered at most other companies.   We’re not new real estate agents, we have the foundation but their training makes me think “why haven’t I been doing that for the past 8 years?”

Susan agrees but expands on something that is critical to the team.  “We were very involved in charity work in our home state of Massachusetts so we wanted to be affiliated with a firm that had the same dedication and culture to philanthropy.”

In fact, the Crowleys are very involved with Wreaths Across America, an organization that buys wreaths which are placed on United States veterans’ graves across the country, something they did in their hometown.  Their goal is to bring the organization to Vero Beach and surrounding communities.  “We want to place seventy-eight wreaths at Memorial Island and Crestlawn Cemetery, in support of our local veterans.  Then we would like to expand in to Fort Pierce’s local cemeteries.”  The couple is looking for volunteers to help them place the wreaths on December 15th.

Susan and Joe originally fell in love with the weather, lifestyle and pace of life in Vero Beach.  Now, they have passion for the local waterways and all that the community has to offer, including theaters and shows, the Friday night art stroll, local culture, music on Ocean Drive, and the variety of events.  They enjoy the outdoors, and spend their free time beaching, kayaking and boating.

The couple are both buyers and listing agents and are focused on single family homes and condominiums.  As former first responders though, they really want to help veterans with Dale Sorensen Real Estate’s Heroes on the Move program, designed to help give back to first responders, veterans and teachers who are buying and selling a home.

This couple that has given so much back to their communities, who have made putting people first a career, continue to work as a well-oiled machine.   “Buying or selling a home is a big deal, it’s a big step in life and we like to guide our clients through, from start to finish,” says Susan.

Joe believes that the two of them can handle anything together. “There’s nothing that comes up that throws us for a loop.  When you work with us, you get double the skills, double the strength and double the effort.  We really love what we do!”

Joe can be reached at 772.492.5300 Ext. 1851, on his cell phone at 413.427.0045, or by email at

Susan can be reached at 772.492.5300 Ext. 1852, on her cell phone at 413. 427.1558, or by email at

They can both be found at the company’s office located at 1961 14th Avenue, in Historic Downtown Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Joe Janson named DSRE Brevard County Sales Manager

Dale Sorensen Real Estate has announced that real estate broker Joe Janson was recently named Brevard County Sales Manager.

Janson is ready to help the company grow their market and team in Brevard County.  “I’m excited to take on this new challenge,” Janson said. “I’ve wanted to be involved in the management side of DSRE since we joined the company.  While I’ll still be involved in real estate sales, my main focus will be recruiting new agents who want to be a part of a new style of real estate firm, one of dedicated training aimed at helping agents be successful.  Our sales agents don’t have to wear 10 hats; we offer administrative, marketing and technical assistants so that our agents can be focused on their customers and listings.”

Donna Browning, Managing Broker, Brevard County, is excited about Janson’s new duties.  “Joe is a highly successful sales agent himself so he is really good at recognizing talent.  I know that he’s looking for both seasoned agents as well as new agents that want to benefit from the DSRE culture of success.”

Janson, along with Kathy Bowser, started in Real Estate in Brevard County in 2010 working at the same brokerage. They became good friends and business associates and eventually made the decision to work together in an effort to provide a higher level of service, availability and professionalism. Known for their integrity, industry knowledge, and sound advice, they joined Dale Sorensen Real Estate, where they formed the Central Florida Home Advisors team specializing in representing unique properties and luxury waterfront homes. Kathy and Joe are multi-million dollar listing and sales agents. They bring a thorough knowledge of residential real estate marketing to the table.
