The Lutgert Companies Break Ground on Oceanfront Condominiums at Surfsedge at Indian River Shores

The Lutgert Companies is pleased to announce the much-anticipated groundbreaking for their luxury oceanfront condominiums at Surfsedge at Indian River Shores. The groundbreaking, held Thursday, April 22, was a celebration attended by several dozen people.

Members of the Lutgert management team that attended from Naples included Howard Gutman, President; Michael Hoyt, Senior Vice-President; David Crowley, Chief Financial Officer; and Stephen Parker, Project Manager. Gutman addressed the crowd, noting how pleased he has been to have chosen DSRE to represent their project and with the fast-paced sales at Surfsedge. “We were promised that if we build it, they will come, and that has been proven. The strength of the sales has given us the confidence to move forward with the condominium building. We are excited and hope to see the same trend with the oceanfront residences.”

Engineers broke ground and placed the test pilings, which is a critical first step in the construction of the building. The pilings will be loaded and once tested and passed, Lutgert will finalize their permitting process and is projected to start construction in late July.

The gated electronic access-controlled community will feature 12 single-family homes and 12 luxury condominiums. The three condo floor plans range in size from 2,800 square feet to 3,100 square feet, with prices between $2.5 to $3.5 million. The single-family homes range from 3,018 square feet to 3,513 square feet with pricing from $1.76 to $1.85 million, depending on the model and location of the lot.

The Lutgert Companies recently won two Platinum awards for their Sea Shell and Sandbar models during the Treasure Coast Builders Association Parade of Homes. Only one single family lot remains and will be sold when it is no longer needed for the construction of the condominium building.

Two models at Surfsedge at Indian River Shores win Platinum in Parade of Homes

VERO BEACH, FL/ APRIL 2021The Lutgert Companies is pleased to announce that two of their models at Surfsedge at Indian River Shores have won Platinum in the 28th Annual Parade of Homes.  The event, hosted by The Treasure Coast Builders Association, featured models located throughout Martin, Indian River and St. Lucie Counties. 

Winning Platinum in Category 10 – Under $1.75 Million in Indian River County, was Lutgert’s Sandbar model, while winning Platinum in Category 11 – Over $1.75 Million in Indian River County, was the company’s Sea Shell model. The Platinum award is the highest award in all categories.  The models were judged by a group of 9 professionals from outside the Treasure Coast area.  They compared exteriors, interiors, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms & other unique features.  The entries were scored and those scores were tabulated and compared with one another.  The categories were established based on sales price and the upgrades as seen in each model. The Platinum award winners are now eligible for the Grand Award which will be announced at the TCBA’s Annual Dinner.

Dale Sorensen Real Estate Sales Agent Jo Anne Infurna announces Island Walk community sold out

INDIALANTIC, FL/FEBRUARY 2021 – Jo Anne Infurna, sales agent with Dale Sorensen Real Estate Brevard (DSRE), has announced that the townhome community, Island Walk Villas, is sold out.  Island Walk, built by developer Coy Clark Company, is a community of 23 townhomes within walking distance of the ocean in Indian Harbour Beach.  Infurna, a Top Producing sales agent, was the exclusive listing agent for Island Walk.

“These beautiful, high quality family residences were offered at an affordable price-point,” said Infurna.  “In addition to selling the newly built townhomes, I’ve closed on several re-sells.  The majority of the owners in this community are snowbirds, and professionals, including doctors and dentists.” 

Infurna credits her aggressive marketing tactics for the success, including hosting several broker-opens and open houses, and utilizing the many innovative DSRE marketing and advertising tools.   “When I was given the original four listings in December of 2017, the market for the product was flat.  I developed a sales plan that included new photos, a listing presentation and a marketing plan which included placing it on the MLS in Orlando, Vero Beach, Palm Beach County, Brevard County and Daytona.” She advertised the community locally, regionally and globally, taking advantage of DSRE’s many relationships with world-wide leading real estate affiliates.

The community was also the only beachside property to be included in the Parade of Homes, which earned them the “Builder Developer” award for their design.  Island Walk Villas are 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2 baths, 2 car garage homes ranging from 2068 sq. feet to 2575 sq. feet.  The units were originally priced from the mid-$300’s, but are currently selling in the mid-$400’s.

“Before COVID-19 hit, we were seeing 20 people a day walk in to view our models,” Infurna remembers.  “We closed down the sales center for about a month, then opened up with new strategies to still be able to show and sell our product.”  Infurna said that the development is still so popular that she has prospective buyers calling her every day, even though there is nothing at Island Walk currently on the market. She’s maintaining a list of those buyers in the event something does come up for sale.

Infurna has been a licensed real estate agent for more than 35 years.  She specializes in international, waterfront and luxury properties.  She is a Certified International Property Specialist and a Trans Relocation Specialist.  She’s currently working with a lot of new construction sales by various builders, and recently sold a $1.2 million oceanfront home. He is also a Recreation Program Coordinator in the Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department, where he helps plan and organize programs that benefit the community.  Parks’ professional experiences as a teacher, realtor and community center supervisor have led him to understand the importance of preparation and the value in paying attention to detail. His ability to communicate with people of all ages helps his customers understand the real estate transaction process.  Parks exhibits calm and patience under stress and tight deadlines, giving his customers a sense of calm. 

Parks holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Columbus State University, where he was a student-athlete. Parks lives in Viera, FL with his wife Jamesha and their two children. In his spare time, Parks enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing all areas of personal fitness.
