Participants were able to choose
from a variety of eleven different soups, all made and donated by the staff and
agents. Soups included Black Bean
& Ham Soup, Moroccan Beef Stew, Hamburger Soup, Corn Chowder,
Curried Butternut Squash, Chicken Vegetable Soup, Chicken and Dumplings Soup, Minestrone

According to the Center’s Facebook page, the Samaritan
Center for Homeless Families of IRC is a long-term transitional residential
facility for homeless families in Indian River County with a structured step-based
program with onsite 24-hours a day case managers that help pregnant women and

is just one of many ways that DSRE gives back to the communities they
serve. With the company leadership
cultivating the culture of giving, those within the company at all levels also
consider themselves “community servants”.
Hundreds of volunteer hours and thousands of dollars are donated on
behalf of a multitude of non-profit and charitable organizations in the
community and around the world. Staff
and sales agents volunteer on boards and at events, selling everything from
soup to fish tacos, hosting parties, dancing in the local “dancing with Vero’s
Stars” and traveling abroad to provide medical treatment for impoverished
nations. The company also hosts the
Annual Vero Beach Easter Parade and Photos with Santa.
2014, DSRE has donated space to charities in its stand-alone real estate
broadsheet in the Press Journal. The charities take advantage of this donation
to market their events and fundraising purposes. Organizations like The Boys & Girls Club,
Environmental Learning Center, Riverside Theater, Indian River Community
Foundation, Hibiscus Children’s Center, Harvest Food & Outreach Center, Children’s
Home Society, VNA, Indian River Medical Center, Indian River Firefighters’ Fair,
the Humane Society and others have all taken advantage of the generous
donation. The marketing piece gives the
organizations a marketing opportunity they would never be able to afford
otherwise. The company donates over $250,000 a year in advertising space alone.

There is no doubt the internet is a great way to reach international buyers, but sometimes there is nothing better than getting together face-to-face. With so many buyers nowadays coming from all over the world this can be a challenge.
That is why we are looking forward to taking lots of our finest homes to London On the 31st of October and 1st of November many wealthy buyers from Europe and beyond will make their way to prestigious Olympia in London to view a selection of the most desirable homes from around the world.
It is in this rarified environment that we have been selected to showcase many of our most luxurious homes. We will be joined by leading real estate industry experts who will be running helpful interactive workshops and seminars over the course of this important two-day event, and, for the ninth year in succession – so successful is the show – that two of our own London office team, Nick Churton and Annette Reeve, will be on hand to help.
This invitation-only private view is a celebration of luxury homes and offers guests a unique opportunity to see and buy some of the world’s most exclusive properties.
London’s favourite exhibition venue, Olympia is surely the perfect backdrop for international buyers to discover some of the world’s most exclusive properties.
We believe it is our ability to expose our clients’ homes to these premium international buyers that really sets us apart from other brokers. We see it as essential that we are able to exhibit some of our most stunning homes at this important event. It is because London is so international and has such a strong influence into Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Russia that the Olympia event has a reach far beyond London and the rest of the UK.
Remember it is by invitation-only so only the most serious buyers will be there. This means there will be a lot of wealth in a small place and it will allow us to speak to the type of buyers who are by nature often difficult to reach. We are keen to introduce our serious sellers to some of the world’s most serious buyers in a relaxed atmosphere where they have the time and inclination to talk.

Bowl has turned into county ritual,” said Renee Bireley, Program Administrator.
“Soup Bowl originated more than 26 years ago when the Samaritan Center Advisory
Board brainstormed ideas on a community fundraiser that would bring awareness
to the homeless population and would be affordable enough for everyone to
attend. From that meeting, Soup Bowl was born. The fundraiser asks for a
minimum donation of $5 for a bowl of soup and $15 for a soup-to-go; however,
the idea is to donate what you would have spent on that meal had you gone out
to eat instead.”
Workshops started at the Vero Beach Museum of Art in mid-August where more than
1,000 wheel thrown bowls are created on and off campus by volunteer potters.
The bowls will be available at all the public locations for a minimum donation
of $15 on November 7. Hand- crafted soup
tureens, made by master ceramicists are raffled for chances that cost $1. The
tureens will be on display at the Vero Beach Museum of Art from Thursday,
October 25 through Thursday, November 7.
“Our center was built by a community coming together in 1990 to
donate funds to build our facility. Now, the whole community continues to come
together each year to support us with Soup Bowl. It is quite impressive.” commented
Renee. “We have more than 40 local artists and volunteers helping during the
Soup Bowl Workshop, hundreds more who volunteer at approximately 42 serving
sites, more than 70 chefs who prepare hundreds of gallons of soup, plus our
staff and Advisory Board members who organize it all behind the scenes.”

VERO BEACH, FL/SEPTEMBER 2019– Dale Sorensen Real Estate (DSRE) is pleased to announce that sales agent Lori Davis has acquired the listing for one of Vero Beach’s most beautifully designed homes, a Villa at Baytree Ocean Villas on Vero Beach’s Barrier Island. The home, located at 8341 Calamandren Way, #27, was designed by world-renowned architect Clemens Bruns Schaub and is listed for $1.65 million.
“This is one of Vero Beach’s most beautiful homes,” Davis
said. “It’s unique with its atypical
contemporary design in Vero Beach but especially because the courtyard was
designed with gorgeous fig trees that were selected and planted for their
unique shape and their stunning look in the evening landscape lighting. The interior of the house is a rich blend of soft
colors, natural lighting and exceptional finishes. Everyone who walks into this home catches
their breath; it’s just that spectacular.”
The 3-bedroom, 3 ½-bath, 3,700+ square foot home is
perfectly situated on the east side of A1A, just steps from the beach and
Atlantic Ocean. Built in 1993, the home
has been completely renovated by its current owners who have homes in
Los Angeles and Barcelona Spain.
All new electric, plumbing, hot water heaters, NEST AC system and HVAC
make this home comparable to new construction on the Barrier Island.
The interior of the home features a marvelous great room
with lighted display niches and sand colored wood flooring throughout. All
common area rooms have 16’ ceilings.
The kitchen is awash in light with creamy white cabinets, quartz
counter tops imported from Barcelona, Spain, distinctive light fixtures, a wine
fridge, oversized island painted in a light sea-foam green and an additional 8’
x 4’ breakfast bar. Glass-fronted cabinets
allow for the display of favorite glassware.
A Kitchen Aid WIFI cooktop, stainless steel fridge and double ovens make
the kitchen a chef’s dream. The living
room is appointed with a wood burning fireplace fronted by a custom Venetian
plaster floor to ceiling mantel and roughhewn wood beams on the ceiling.
Each of the bedrooms has a private bath, but the master
bedroom ensuite is magnificent. An extra-large
shower with marble floor and walls also includes a private view of a landscaped
garden area, triple Rubi rain shower heads, double quartz-topped vanities, and
a beautiful oval soaker tub.
The courtyard design of the home allows access to the
stunning pool area from every room through impact glass sliders. The sparkling crystal pool is surrounded with
a bevy of outdoor dining and seating areas shaded by palm and fig trees.
Crushed stone paths dotted with bright green grass are a lovely contrast to the
blue waters of the pool and fountain. The
patio area was custom designed by Rock City Gardens, known for their beautiful
and unique landscaping.
The home also features a den/office, two 2-car garages, and
a laundry room with Samsung WIFI washer and dryer.
