Dale Sorensen Real Estate Sales Agent Jo Anne Infurna chosen to be exclusive agent for Island Walk

Jo Anne Infurna, sales agent with Dale Sorensen Real Estate (DSRE), has been chosen by developer Vintage Estate Homes to be the exclusive listing agent for Island Walk Villas in Indian Harbour Beach.  Infurna, a Top Producing sales agent has recorded 2 sales in Building 2 and are taking reservations on Building #3 since being given the listings.

“These town homes are beautiful, high quality family residences being offered at an affordable price-point,” said Infurna.  “I’m really excited to offer these listings as part of DSRE’s portfolio.  The reception by the public and other agents has been fantastic.”  Infurna has hosted several broker-opens and open houses since working on the project. She has an on-site team Wednesdays through Sundays.

Infurna’s sales techniques coupled with DSRE’s marketing tools have created a formula for success. “When I was given the original four listings in December, the market for the product was flat.  I developed a sales plan that included new photos, a listing presentation and marketing plan which included placing it on the MLS in Orlando, Vero Beach, Palm Beach County, Brevard County and Daytona.  We’ve started taking reservations on Building 3, but interest is high so I expect these to go fast.”

Infurna has had success on another project for the same developer.  “We have a great relationship.  They know how hard I work and how I take advantage of all the sales and marketing tools that DSRE has to offer in order to market and sell this product.”  In addition to Island Walk, Infurna is working on projects for two other builders, including Coastmark Construction. Coastmark is currently building luxury oceanfront condominiums priced at $1 million and up.

Island Walk Villas are 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2 baths, 2 car garage homes ranging from 2068 sq. feet to 2575 sq. feet, priced from the mid-$300’s.

Infurna has been a licensed real estate agent for more than 35 years.  She specializes in international, waterfront and luxury properties.  She has her International Certification and the Melbourne Board of Realtors recently asked her to sit in on classes to renew her Certified International Specialist certificate.

Dale Sorensen, Sr. founded Dale Sorensen Real Estate, Inc. in 1978.  Prior to that he was headmaster at St. Edwards School and vice president for Gulf and Western Industries.  As Vice-President in charge of government relations and real estate land issues, Dale traveled extensively between Florida, New York and the Dominican

That prompted Dale to form Dale Sorensen Real Estate, Inc.

Matilde earned her real estate license in 1980. With total career sales in excess of $1 Billion, Matilde Sorensen is the leading real estate agent on Vero Beach Florida’s Barrier Island.  She has been recognized nationally as one of America’s Best Real Estate Agents by REAL Trends three years in a row, is ranked in the top one half of 1 percent of the more than 1,100,000 REALTORS® nationwide and has been consistently ranked in recent years as a top real estate agent in Florida and the nation.  In 2016, Real Trends ranked her 104 in the nation, the only agent in Indian River County to achieve a ranking.

From humble beginnings and with more than one leap of faith, Matilde and her husband together have built a successful real estate firm known for its philanthropy, impeccable integrity and customer service.  The company recently received several awards including Business Champion of the Year award from the Economic Development Division of the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, the 2017 Philanthropy Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Indian River Chapter, and the 2017 Business Champion of the Year from the Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Ray Ferngren joins Dale Sorensen Real Estate

Dale Sorensen Real Estate is pleased to announce that Ray Ferngren has joined the company’s team of real estate professionals.

Ray Ferngren is used to dealing with multi-million-dollar portfolios.  As a member of the financial services industry, Ferngren helped guide clients with decisions relating to their financial goals.  That experience and knowledge is what sets him apart from other real estate sales agents.

“I believe that my experience in the financial services industry allows me to understand the financial component of a real estate transaction as well as my customers budgets and loan processes,” said Ferngren.  “I understand the pros and cons of different loan packages and can help my customers make the best decision based on their individual financial well-being.”

Ferngren has joined the Live Now Team in Sebastian and is finally living in what he calls “the best of Florida.”  Moving here from Jacksonville was a natural decision for and he and his wife.  “My father retired to Sebastian 25 years ago so we’ve been visiting here for a long time.  When the time came to leave the Northeast part of Florida, we couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.  We love the feeling of living in a small community, and getting to know our neighbors and fellow residents, and all the business and shop owners.”

When Ferngren made the decision to join the real estate industry, he remembered his own personal experiences in buying and selling homes, and after observing the Live Now Team, he knew he found the right fit.  “The professionalism is unparalleled at Dale Sorensen Real Estate.  I also wanted the opportunity to work with a company that offers their agents staff support, training, sales tools and marketing.   DSRE does all that and more.  I feel that I’ve started off in my new career on the right foot by joining this team.”

Ferngren will specialize in residential, single family-homes and condominiums in family oriented and senior 55+ communities in the Sebastian area.

Ferngren and his wife, Carrie, enjoy fishing, fitness and getting to know all the local parks and waterways.  He previously served on the Archdiocese of St. Augustine’s investment committee that served the loan needs of member churches.

Ferngren can be reached by phone at 904.304.0844 or by email at rferngren@sorensenrealestate.com.

The Live Now Team celebrates $26 million in sales in 2017

The Live Now Team believes that helping people enjoy life in the here and now is the most important part of their job, and because of this philosophy, they are a much sought-after team of real estate agents.  The Live Now Team recently announced total sales of $26 million in 2017 but their goal for this year is event more ambitious. The team joined Dale Sorensen Real Estate in May of 2017.

“We are really excited to be able to celebrate these numbers,” said team leader Jim Belanger. “Our team is passionate about Sebastian and surrounding areas and the people we serve and it shows in everything we do.  When you love a community like we do, it’s easy to sell homes there. We all enjoy the beach or fishing life, going into businesses where the staff knows our name, and seeing friends and neighbors around every corner.  I appreciate the hard work this team does and what they have accomplished.  I believe we can top these numbers in 2018 and we’re all really excited to reach our new goals.”

The Live Now Team consists of Jim Belanger, Carolyn Plante, Ashleigh Lovell, Melissa Murphy, and Ray Ferngren.  As the area’s leading real estate sales team, the group believes that they are selling a lifestyle, one that is coveted by those who want a relaxed life far removed from the hustle and bustle of larger cities.

Belanger has been a real estate sales agent for 7 years.  Prior to that, he was in the construction industry for more than 30 years, managing a large team of over 30 employees.  In addition, he oversaw the marketing and scheduling for the business, making sure deadlines were met and projects were kept on budget.  He continues to maintain his General Contractors License.  “I am a problem solver,” he says.  “I’m able to see the big picture.  This really helps when customers come to us with a real estate problem.  I love being able to help them come to a satisfactory conclusion.”

Carolyn Plante retired from Massachusetts.  An avid camper, she originally camped Sebastian State Park, which is when she fell in love with the community.  “This is like a sleepy little fishing village with the vibe of the Keys.  I understand how easy it is to want this lifestyle and I love being able to help others settle here.”  A former Police Officer, she’s good at dealing with all types of personalities and is quick to find the humor in any situation.

Belanger and Plante moved their team to Dale Sorensen Real Estate for a host of reasons.  “We really liked the professionalism of this company, we saw it when we dealt with their other agents.  But their philanthropic work in the community was just as important to us. No other company in this community gives back so much.”

Team member Ashleigh Lovell was an administrative assistant with DSRE when she finally realized her dream of getting her own real estate license in 2015.  A young mom with two small children, she is passionate about raising her children in Sebastian, where she herself grew up.  She’s experienced a great deal of success in the short time she’s been licensed, a testament to her warm, down to earth personality, and ability to make customers feel immediately relaxed and at ease with her.

Melissa Murphy moved from Connecticut to Palm Beach County, working in the real estate investment arena for several years.  After many sightseeing trips to the Treasure Coast with her mom, they both eventually moved to Sebastian.  Murphy has had her real estate license since 2010 and uses her previous experience in commercial and residential transactions to help her customers realize their dreams.  Her attitude of providing excellent customer service to her customers includes not just meeting her clients’ expectations but exceeding them.

Although Ray Ferngren has been a licensed real estate agent since 2013, he just recently joined The Live Now Team.  Growing up in various parts of Florida, he frequently visited his father who had retired to Sebastian.  Eventually, Ferngren moved to Sebastian.  His previous experience in the financial services industry proves helpful to his clients.  His ability to negotiate and understand and explain contracts and loans enables him to help his customers make the best decisions for their goals and dreams.

The Live Now Team is involved with various charities and non-profit organizations in the community.  As active members of the Sebastian community, they each have a vested interest in helping their neighbors and newcomers.

Josh Stalls joins Dale Sorensen Real Estate

Dale Sorensen Real Estate is pleased to announce that Josh Stalls has joined the company’s team of real estate professionals.

Growing up on the Treasure Coast, Stalls learned at a young age how precious the local lands were and what heritage and tradition meant to Florida’s families.  The son of an agricultural real estate family, Stalls learned the importance of the preservation of land and protecting the area’s natural resources while managing smart growth and development.   As a kid and teenager traveling around the area with his father, Stalls learned all the nuances of his home, from the Atlantic Ocean west to Okeechobee and from Brevard County south to Martin County.

Although Stalls is also the day to day operations manager for his family’s property on Vero Beach’s Barrier Island, selling real estate is his real passion.  “I love this area with all its history, but I also love how the future is unfolding for our residents.  I like being able to be a part of local conservation while also helping new families move to this beautiful part of Florida.  I have two sons, ages 8 & 13, and I know what a great childhood they’re having here in this area, so I understand the quality of life people are looking for when they move here. I’m honored to be able to help them.”

If being a successful real estate agent is a goal for Stalls, then selling real estate at Dale Sorensen Real Estate is a large part of attaining that goal.  “I joined DSRE because I was tired of swimming upstream with other agencies.  I knew I wanted to be with the best and surround myself with the best in order to be a better sales agent.  DSRE has everything I need to reach my goals; the training, the tools, the support, the international marketing.  But they’re also a family owned-family run business who appreciates tradition and heritage and loves this area as much as I do.  And I like how charitable they are in the community.  I could not have chosen a better firm to work with.”

Josh Stalls has deep roots on the Treasure Coast and he’s anxious to help others plant their own roots here.  Contact him at 772.800.8305 or by email at jstalls@sorensenrealestate.com or visit him at the office located at 1961 14th Avenue, in historic downtown Vero Beach.

Tench joined DSRE for several reasons.  “I love the reputation that this company has in the community,” she said.  “They offer their agents a wide variety of training, marketing and sales tools, they’re extremely philanthropic, and they manage the Sales and Rental Center in Sea Oaks.  That was very important to me.”  Tench and her family have owned property in Sea Oaks Beach and Tennis Club since 1996.  She has enjoyed the Sea Oaks lifestyle and community for many years.

Dale Sorensen Real Estate celebrates Grand Opening of office in Historic Cocoa Village

Dale Sorensen Real Estate, Inc., (DSRE) the leader in the real estate market in Brevard and Indian River Counties, recently celebrated the Grand Opening of their office in the quaint and charming arts and cultural district of Historic Cocoa Village.  This ultramodern-luxury real estate office is strategically located in a high foot-traffic area on #4 Harrison Street in the middle of a couple of the area’s most popular entertainment attractions.

“Opening this office was part of our company’s strategic growth plan and we could not be more pleased with the success of this office and the sales agents who work here,” said Dale Sorensen, Jr., managing partner for Dale Sorensen Real Estate.  “Sales have exceeded our initial expectations and we expect that to continue. When we opened here, we wanted to offer the residents of Brevard County the same unparalleled customer service that our Indian River County clients have enjoyed for 40 years.   I believe that we have accomplished that and more.”

“We’re very excited to have an office in Cocoa Village,” said Dale Sorensen, Sr., Broker and Founder of Dale Sorensen Real Estate, Inc. “When I started this company, now 40 years ago, I could not have imagined this growth.  But thanks to the commitment of everyone involved within the company, and the arduous work and success of our sales associates, we have become the real estate market leaders for the Treasure and Space Coasts.”

Donna Browning, Managing Broker for Brevard County, is also very pleased with the location. “We really love being a part of the Historic Cocoa Village.  We have joined several local business organizations and have carried on the DSRE culture of giving by investing in local non-profit groups and philanthropy.  We have also invested substantially in the office itself by remodeling the space and it turned out beautiful.  We incorporated the fabulous DSRE brand and colors and transformed this space into something very innovative and modern, utilizing the most up-to-date technology. One of the very exciting features is the addition of the digitally intelligent interactive display system that allows foot-traffic consumers to interact with content and listings through our storefront window at any time of day.  We’ve made a commitment to provide our sales agents with the latest in technology and the most innovative marketing tools to empower them to deliver great service to their customers.”

Browning also said that investing in their sales agents is truly important to the company.  The company utilizes a comprehensive training program that continually provides education to their sales agents to keep them in the forefront of real estate trends and technology while elevating the service they can provide with the exclusive and innovative marketing and sales tools that makes up the DSRE Advantage and that contributes to the hundreds of successful transactions made by DSRE agents.

Brenda Valdivia joins Dale Sorensen Real Estate

Dale Sorensen Real Estate is pleased to announce that Brenda Valdivia has joined the company’s team of real estate professionals.

Valdivia grew up in Peru and Miami so she appreciates the Vero Beach lifestyle in a way like no-one else.  As a child in Peru, Valdivia’s father was a successful car dealer.  That is until the worst political violence in the history of the republic during the 1980’s and 1990’s.  Valdivia’s family knew they needed to leave their homeland and moved to Miami/Ft. Lauderdale.  But after several years, her father wanted to move to a quieter, less congested area to improve his family’s lifestyle.  The family arrived in Vero Beach a dozen years ago and immediately knew they were finally home.

Selling real estate was another long journey for Valdivia. “I worked in retail sales on Vero’s Barrier Island for many years.  Matilde Sorensen used to come in and she would ask me to come sell real estate.  I always thought about it but would never take that leap.  Then I met another sales agent with Dale Sorensen Real Estate.  He finally convinced me that I could, and should, do this.  I will forever be grateful to both of them for pushing me into what is now my forever career.”

Valdivia has a background of proven sales and superior customer service. Valdivia will work with all types of residential real estate, including single family homes, apartments and condominiums, in all areas of Vero Beach and Indian River County.  She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

A shopping maven, other hobbies of Valdivia include trying new restaurants, going to the movies, and spending time in the sun, and at beaches and the pool. She is the very proud grandmother to a 15-month-old little girl.  “She is the light of my life.”

For a woman forced to leave her homeland, to finding her new hometown, Brenda Valdivia appreciates the wonderful life she has and is anxious to show others the town she has so lovingly adopted.

She can be reached at 772.321.1581, by email at bvaldivia@sorensenrealestate.com or at the office located at 1961 14th Avenue, in historic downtown Vero Beach.
