Scott Maki is a Melbourne, Florida native and a graduate of Stetson University with a Bachelor of
Business Administration. His background in finance, trust and estate management gives him a unique
skill set in the real estate industry. He intuitively understands financial contracts in real estate
transactions, no matter how complicated or detailed, making the entire process easier on his customers.
He studies and follows market trends which allows him to help his sellers price their property to get the
highest price, and his buyers to get the best value.
But Scott isn’t your typical finance guy; he loves people and being able to help them find their first
dream home, or transition to downsizing or upsizing.
Scott worked in Vero Beach from 2007-2013, where he became familiar with Dale Sorensen Real Estate
(DSRE). “I saw DSRE’s stellar reputation as a true family run business with Dale and his family being fully
involved,” Scott says. “I grew up in a family business so their reputation, centralized location in
Indialantic, and having other branches in Brevard and Indian River County, were very important to me. I
am looking forward to growing in my new role with DSRE both professionally, but also personally here in
the local community as I continue to branch out and meet new friends and families.”
Scott is an avid animal lover and has his long-time fur baby, Taylor, who is 12 years old. Scott has been a
volunteer at the Melbourne Beach History Center since 2013. His hobbies include golf, traveling, music
and spending time with friends and family at the beach.
