Dale Sorensen Real Estate is pleased to announce that Dale Sorensen, Sr. and Matilde Sorensen were awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate/LuxuryRealEstate.com at its 16th Annual LRE® Spring Retreat. The event took place at the W Hotel in South Beach, Miami on May 9.

Dale Sorensen, Sr. founded Dale Sorensen Real Estate, Inc. in 1978. Prior to that he was headmaster at St. Edwards School and vice president for Gulf and Western Industries. As Vice-President in charge of government relations and real estate land issues, Dale traveled extensively between Florida, New York and the Dominican
Republic. While in the Dominican Republic, he met his wife, Matilde, and they were married on June 17, 1972. He brought his young wife to Vero Beach and they settled into married life. In 1978, Gulf and Western moved the Vero Beach office to West Palm Beach, but Dale & Matilde had truly made Vero their home and they didn’t want to leave. That prompted Dale to form Dale Sorensen Real Estate, Inc.
Matilde earned her real estate license in 1980. With total career sales in excess of $1 Billion, Matilde Sorensen is the leading real estate agent on Vero Beach Florida’s Barrier Island.
