Indian River County has 22 beach/parks with access to the ocean or lagoon. Nine of the county's full service parks have year-round lifeguards on duty:

- Sebastian Inlet State Park - at Brevard County Line, north A1A
- Treasure Shores Park - 3 miles north of RT 510 on A1A
- Wabasso Beach Park - at Rt. 510 and A1A
- Golden Sand Beach Park - North A1A
- Jaycee Park- A1A, north end of Ocean Dr.
- Humiston Park - Ocean Drive
- Tracking Station Park - North A1A
- South Beach Park - North A1A
- Round Island Park - South A1A at St. Lucie County Line
